UEFA EURO 2020

11 June – 11 July 2021

Hosted at Hampden Park, Glasgow
14, 18, 22, 29 June 2021

Over the past couple of months, we have seen a huge number of incredible stories about volunteers across the country giving up their time and effort to help local communities during the COVID-19 outbreak. The UEFA EURO 2020 Volunteer Management Team is aware that many of you will be part of this effort, either through an existing volunteer role you carry out all year round or a new role you have taken on during the current situation.

With the majority of normal volunteer activities on hold across the country such as youth groups, charity events and sports including football, we know the volunteering many of you normally carry out will have sadly come to an abrupt halt for the time being.

With this being the case, Volunteers’ Week could not be any more important during this period of uncertainty with many of the volunteers on our programme supporting their communities across Glasgow and the rest of the country.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who is out volunteering during this difficult time.

We would like to share with you some amazing stories of the volunteers who are part of the UEFA EURO 2020 Volunteer programme and their own efforts over the last few months.
