GLASGOW’S HOST CITY STATUS CONFIRMED FOR UEFA EURO 2020

The Scottish FA and its key Local Organising Structure [LOS] partners are pleased to have Glasgow’s host city status for UEFA EURO 2020 confirmed at today’s meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee.

Following weekend speculation the Local Organising Structure Glasgow wishes to clarify that it has reconfirmed its position as a host city venue for UEFA EURO 2020, rescheduled next year.

Following today’s announcement from UEFA’s Executive Committee on the future planning for the rescheduled UEFA EURO 2020, the Local Organising Structure Glasgow is continuing discussions with a view to reaffirming its position as a host city for next year’s rescheduled tournament.

The countdown to Glasgow’s biggest ever football event continued today, as plans for a major city centre Football Village for UEFA EURO 2020 were unveiled.
