UEFA EURO 2020 TO KEEP ITS NAME

UEFA has confirmed that next summer's final tournament will still be known as UEFA EURO 2020, to honour the event's original vision.

Following today’s announcement from UEFA’s Executive Committee on the future planning for the rescheduled UEFA EURO 2020, the Local Organising Structure Glasgow is continuing discussions with a view to reaffirming its position as a host city for next year’s rescheduled tournament.

Ten countries will battle it out over the next couple of weeks as they try to book the final six spots available for the online UEFA eEURO 2020 final tournament in May, with matches on UEFA’s YouTube channel.

The remaining six places in the final tournament will be decided through the play-offs in April, with selected matches to be broadcast on UEFA’s YouTube channel.
