SCHOOLS ACROSS SCOTLAND GET BEHIND THE MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM

Although the result didn't go Scotland's way, schools up and down the country were in a patriotic mood as UEFA EURO 2020 kicked off in Glasgow. 

After 23 years absent from major tournaments, the men's national team took to Hampden Park against Czech Republic to open their EURO 2020 campaign - where an entire generation watched Scotland compete at a major tournament for the first time. Before a ball was kicked, the passion and enthusiasm from nursery and school children was clear to see with painted faces, Scotland strips and the lion rampant all making an appearance. There were also a number of pupils who were keen to show us that, Yes Sir, they can boogie!
