The incredible hospitality production volunteers were part of an amazing team who helped distribute 11,000 meals over the tournament.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I signed up - I have never done anything like this before. I can honestly say it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done! To work with such a vibrant, enthusiastic and selfless group of people has been such a rewarding experience. I have travelled 7 hours round trips for each mission day, but it has been worth every minute of it. Thanks to all that made it happen!

Daniel, Ticketing.

Well they say all good things come to an end and boy what a tournament it’s been meeting so many amazing and wonderful people Glasgow was buzzing to its very core and the Scotland boys done us proud. I have met friends I will now have for life. It’s changed my whole outlook on life this opportunity to be a mobility maker volunteer, I want to thank you for an amazing experience I will cherish forever.

Robert, Mobility Maker.

Volunteering at Euro 2020 has been a wonderful experience. The volunteers were a mixture of old timers and first timers, it was lovely to see old friends and make new ones. Meeting the fans was an experience I won't forget. They arrived in high spirits and even when they were leaving, win or lose they were still so nice to us. The whole experience was unforgettable.

Margaret, Venue Operations.

Scotland fans go through a rollercoaster of emotions with any tournament – hope becomes disappointment, becomes hope again, becomes acceptance of defeat! We exit the tournament but with heads held high. We don’t wallow, we lift ourselves up because #noscotlandnoparty! Euro2020 has been different. The same emotions have been experienced but this time with new people. People I would never have met otherwise but will now be lifelong friends. We’ve laughed together, motivated each other when we’ve walked 500 miles and the memories will last forever.

Gabriella, Hospitality.

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank the volunteer management team eternally for allowing me to work as part of such an amazing team and participating in this once in a lifetime opportunity which I will never forget. And some of the relationships and bonds I have formed with other volunteers will certainly last much longer than the end of the Glasgow volunteer programme. And you know maybe I will have the opportunity to work with some of the members of the programme at an event in the near future. Thanks again for such an amazing opportunity.

Liam, Ceremonies.

It finally went ahead, Euro 2020, And came right here to Glasgow. The Tartan Army were in numbers a plenty, Situated at Hampden, Ready for a once in a lifetime chance. Being out on the pitch and representing UEFA, The whole experience, it
did enhance. Waving the big shirts in sync, While fans did a cheer, Clapping for 7, To create a pre match electric atmosphere. Making new friends and being in the crowd, This experience I will never forget, Being at the party for 60
years of Euros, Its an experience that, always in my mind, will be set, thank you.
